Did you know the film Les Intouchables is showing at The Watershed in Bristol?

Les Intouchables came out in France in November 2011 and, immediately,  had a fantastic success ( a fait un tabac) . The two directors ( réalisateurs) Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano depict the relationship between a quadriplegic ( un tétraplégique ), played by François Cluzet and his helper ( son aide à domicile ou son auxiliaire de vie), played by Omar Sy. This story is taken from real life: Philippe Pozzo di Boggo, a quadraplegic, wrote a book ( Le second souffle) in which he describes his life with his helper, Abdel Yasmin Sellou.

The film is full of humour, fun and at the same time, shows the spectator the everyday life of someone completely dependent on others who can suffer terrible pain. There is so much in this film: go and see it!!
Allez le voir, it is a must ( c'est incontournable)!!
It may inspire you to join a French class! For more info...
