Did you know that our next French cookery workshop is next Thursday?

Isa, our French chef and French teacher, once again is ready to teach a new recipe: une blanquette de poissons aux légumes printaniers et risotto aux petits pois et safran.
La blanquette de veau is a traditional French dish with pieces of veal cooked in a white sauce with wine and mushrooms. So une blanquette de poisson must be prepared in a white sauce too! The only way to discover exactly what it is is to book a place on the course, as soon as possible: for more info...

Did you know that Isabelle' s French class went to Lille?

The whole French group went to Lille with Eurostar and spent the weekend exploring Lille, its museums, markets, cafés and restaurants.

This is what one of Isabelle' s students wrote on their return:

Trips to France are organized with individual French teachers and are a great boost for confidence, one of the next best thing is our drama workshop starting on 22nd April, there are still places available. For more info...

Do read this great portrait:

Kay, student in Martine's Wednesday morning French class has written a portrait of Franz Hals after the whole group studied how various authors write portraits, then, the students worked on related vocabulary and wrote their own portraits.
So here is Kay's:

You can join one of our French tuition group and learn to write portraits too, they don't need to be as sophisticated  as this one, you have to start at the level which is right for you. For more info...
